Meet Jim Brennan
 

Jim has been active in Central Oregon real estate since 1970. He obtained his real estate broker's license in 1971 and was the only real estate instructor in the Bend area during the early 1970's. After fifteen years with Russell's Realty and three years with Bachelor Realty, he joined Manzanita Properties in 1987. Although he has developed an impressive reputation and following for his expertise in single and multi-family residential property in the Bend area, a high percentage of his transactions regularly involve commercial real estate and tax deferred exchanges. He has been a consistent successful multi-million dollar achiever throughout his real estate career. 

Before entering the real estate business, Jim worked as a research analyst in the mining industry and was responsible for buying and selling mining property. He grew up in the construction industry and had his own contracting business for several years. 

Jim is originally from the state of Washington and prior to settling in Bend, received his BA and MA from Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado. He is an active outdoorsman and when his busy real estate schedule permits, he can be found windsurfing in the Columbia River Gorge or skiing on Mount Bachelor. Jim's hard work ethic and competitive nature during business negotiations are probably a result of this membership on the U.S. Ski Team and the three national ski jumping championships to his credit. 

During his real estate career, Jim has achieved recognition as a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), a Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI).
